Version 0.6.0 Released!


Hi everyone, TheRealTron here. the developer for Our Dying World. And here are the changes made in the 0.6.0 update.

 Starting off with one of the biggest changes, combat has been completely reworked.

When you first start off in ODW you’re limited to only one boost point compared to starting off at five like before. This may seem like just a downgrade but enemies have been adjusted to this.

The goal of doing this is to make it more rewarding while progressing.

 The party can now gain more boost points than before by progressing through the story and having mentors more experienced with magic teach you.

 Besides the boosts there are new enemies and reworked ones to fight to really hone your skills.

 Along with combat, the dungeons and Aria have been fully reworked with plenty of new secrets to discover.

 Runes have been added to the game as well, you can find them just like any other item by exploring. Runes had permanent bonuses to your health, attack or defense.

 You may have noticed that the art is a bit different. This update is primarily a quality-of-life one. And along with things like full controller support. Every single bust has been remade.

 And that’s it for the 0.6.0 update, I know it’s not that big but I promise the quality of life features were certainly worth the wait.

 Oh, right… one more thing in my notes here… it says to watch out for Azel… but, I don’t know who that is…
